COOKER - Grasping the Infinite...

Excerpt from COOKER by Brad Havens

(formatted for blog post)

NOTE: Cooker has been asked why Time Travel is so complicated, and this is his response...

Trillions upon Trillions of sentient life forms across an incalculable expanse of galaxies and solar systems, all simultaneously sharing these same linear moments of time with you, sharing the same short sighted, greedy obsession over how their singularly insignificant lives matter more than anyone else’s in this beautiful, blooming cosmos and yet, none of this is linear. It writhes and surges, subsiding at the same time it expands, pushing and pulling in a multitude of complex systems, all functioning simultaneously through the Infinite. Now imagine what size and shape - what object must be containing this cosmic glory? If the finite is expanding through the infinite, what form does it take? To affect this magnificent, incomprehensible magnitude, you must have an understanding of this simple construct. This simple, beautiful construct in which the infinite envelopes us all. And you don’t. All you want to do is bend the universe towards your own ambition to shit in a gold pot.
